FATHER HELP ME PRAYER

  • Father help me in the Name of Jesus to exalt Your Word,  to hold it in high esteem, and give it first place. That I will make my schedule around Your Word.
  • Hear my cry, o God. Listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you. I call as my heart grows faint, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Ps. 61:1-4
  • Set a guard O Lord, before my mouth, keep watch at the door of my lips.
  • Help me to commit myself to walk in the Word, that Your Word can live in me and produce Your life in this world.
  • Let me regognise that Your Word is integrity itself – steadfast, sure, eternal, so that I can trust my life to its provisions.
  • Help me to make my schedule around Your Word.
  • That I will make Your Word final authority to settle all questions that confront me.
  • Help me to choose to agree with Your Word and that I will disagree with any thoughts, conditions or circumstances contrary to Your Word.
  • PRAY FOR OTHERS IN LEADERSHIP:
    • Father God, i praise and thank You for the privilege to enter before Your throne of grace and put a requests for my city/town/region, other cities, country and continent before You. I praise and thank You for the fact that I know that You hear every prayer.
    • Lord, I thank you that I can pray all of this, because Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever and ever.
    • Father God, we acknowledge Your clear instruction in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 that we should as a first priority make entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgiving, on behalf of all men and specifically on behalf of kings, presidents and all who are in authority. We thank you for your promise, Lord that in so doing we may lead a tranquil and quit life in all godliness and dignity.
    • I pray that You will give our leaders wisdom and humility to lead our country wisely; that You will touch their hearts so that they will have the blessings to know Jesus Christ as Saviour and King and that they will allow the Holy Spirit to guide.
    • I pray for the Politicians: cabinet, parliament, diplomats, ambassadors.
    • All the legal professions: judges, advocates, lawyers, legal advisers.
    • The Protection services: Heads of police, heads of the military.
    • All Spiritual leaders: Pastors, ministers, priests, rabbis, etc.
    • The Educational leaders: teachers, inspectors, lectures, headmasters, rectors.
    • The Cultural leaders: prominent persons in the entertainment and sports world, cultural organisations.
    • The Commercial leaders: figures of authority in the business world, business leaders, economists, bankers.
    • The media: people in authority in the media, editors, executive officials at radio and television stations, editors of magazines.
    • The Municipal and government officials: mayors, town clerks, executive officials.
    • All Social leaders: chairpersons of clubs and societies.
    • Pray that unsaved and corrupt leaders become convicted of sin by the Holy Spirit and that they will seek God’s forgiveness.
    • Pray for pure lives and sober habits.
    • Pray specifically that the Lord will send people to them who can witness to them.
    • Pray for their families for their salvation and that they will influence them positively.
    • Pray for the person in the execution of his duties that he will act fairly, humanely and with insight. 
    • Pray that the Lord will disrupt the advice of evil advisors and that the Lord will give the leaders wisdom and discernment.
    • Pray for plans of those who are involved in plots an unholy conspiracies will fail. Whether the conspirators are people in authority or persons seeking to harm someone in authority, we need to pray that their plans will come to nothing.
    • There are specific demons working in politics and at government level. Pray and cut them loose from the influence of the evil powers on the lives of individuals in Jesus’ Name.
    • Ask the Lord to break the strongholds of the evil one in politics and individuals lives.
    • Cut loose all evil plans of satan in the hearts of people in positions of authority, which is not according to Scripture.
    • Pray that the decisions that leaders must make will be the right ones and that they will be in unity with the Will of God.
    • Pray for Godly wisdom for people in position of authority when they often has to make difficult decisions under stress.
    • Pray for their relationships with their personnel and subjects that they will act in wisdom and love and that they will treat others with human dignity.
    • Pray that the Holy Spirit will infiltrate their thoughts and their thinking
    • That I can say boldly and confidently that my heart is fixed and established on the solid foundation – the Living Word of God!
