WALKING IN DELIVERANCE

• Deliverance is not a quick-fix, it is a life style.
• People must know that we have a responsibility to be clean vesels of honour for the Lord, so that He can use us in, and for His Kingdom.
• Leading an unsaved person to the Lord is one of the most rewarding experiences a Christian can have.
• However, our responsibility does not end there.
• Just as a newborn baby needs physical care and nourishment from its parents, a newborn Christian needs spiritual care and nourishment from foundationally strong Christians.
• Ignorance is one reason that Christians are weak today. We must wake up and realise that we are engaged in spiritual warefare. We must learn that there is much more to the Gospel than the salvation message. We can not get saved and then sit down and just wait for Jesus to return and take us to Heaven.
• “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perserverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:10-18).
• By reading Ephesians, we see that the Lord is telling us that there is an enemy that is agaist us, hates us, and will do anything to make our life’s miserable .
• In these last days, God is moving mightilly by His Spirit and is commanding us to arise, to cross over, to engage in battle, and to possess the land. God is raising up a great army to accomplish His purposes in our generation.
• If we are in the army of God we are on the winning side.
• We don’t have to fear the enemy if we know how he opperate and what is his strategies.
• There is nothing that he can do against us if there is not a legal right for him to work with, and he only get that if we commit sin.
• That is the weapons that he use against us.
• Our main focus in this warefare must be then, to get rid of sin in our lifes. To ask forgiveness for the ones that was committed and stop doing it.
• That is how we take weapons out of his hands.
