THE LORD IS THERE IN PERSECUTION “There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My sake, and the Gospel’s, but he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life” (Mark.10:29,30). You see, Jesus wanted them to know what they could expect: a house (He will always provide shelter somewhere); brothers, sisters, mothers, and children (spiritually speaking), lands (when and if they are needed); with persecutions, we Christians will have great priviledges, yes, but it can be that we will endure persecution along the way. We should know that the Lord is with us, even in the time of persecution If you’re a Chriastian, you need to develop such a close relationship with the Lord that you know that He is there for you. If you are what God wants you to be, and if you’re doing what God wants you to do (in His perfect will or plan for your life), when the devil calls on you (tries to tempt you) he’ll get a busy signal!. But if you’re idle, or if you’re doing something that is not ordained of the Lord, the devil gets an “open line” to talk with you. Friend, brother, and sister, let the motto over your home be “Yahweh Shammah” – the Lord is there. Keep well occupied with the word of the Lord by reading His Word and devoting yourseld to prayer. If you’ll do that, the Lord will make you the person that you should be in His sight. Given the above, you can understand why God chose my ministry’s name to be ‘YAHWEH SHAMMAH”!
